Carps Watch

Once we posted bail, our monkey researchers were back on the trail of the elusive Carps. Files discovered in The Richard Nixon Library suggest Carps was a body double for Hérve Villenchaize, who played Tattoo in the smash hit T.V. series Fantasy Island. Executives at the ABC Network, who produced the show, suggested we speak with their in-house C.I.A. Liaison Officer. The following statement was issued:

“The making of Fantasy Island is protected by The Official Secrets Act and documents pertaining to the show will never be declassified. We are therefore unable to confirm or deny Carps’ involvement in the making of Fantasy Island or comment upon his weekly struggle to fulfill the fantasies of the guests who visited said island.”

An insider at the network told us that the making of Fantasy Island was a drug fuelled, whore infested nightmare that should never be retold. The series ran from 1978-84.

Sadly, Hérve died in 1993 from Chocolate Delirium.

Dear Carpswatch, firstly may I congratulate you on your sterling work in tracking this elusive fellow. I too have spent many man hours searching for him. He is still wanted for many related crimes against all humanity. If it is any help I believe the last reported sighting was on the set of BBC's acclaimed series, I Claudius, where he was playing a hairy midget with gender issues. However, the question remains. Who is Carps? Keep up the good work! Peace out.

I think I may have met him once. He was handing out brown acid at Woodstock in'69. Don't remember much about it except the smell of sausages and a strong taste of cabbages in my mouth.
